Basic Knitting Video I have got a lot of questions lately about knitting. Some of my co-workers have been asking me to teach them. I have put a link/video above that can show you the basic steps to get started. Also make sure you practice to get the hang of it! Also in Richmond every second Thursday from 7:00pm to 8:30pm you are welcome to come for a free knitting class at the public library in town. They have supplies for beginners and can help with anything you need. Hope to see some of you there.

My knitted cable hat, one of my first. This pattern was not designed by me and I take no credit for it. The pattern is from the book Knitting  (idiots guide) by Megan Goodacre. Hand made knitted change purse with sheep design on it. I used a 44 stitch cast on made with size 4 pointed needles. I sewed the black liner and zipper in by hand. Another view of the purse...  The sheep pattern I used for the design  The whole written pattern will be posted in the future
